Dales Bike Bus is Back!
Starting from this weekend, the Dales Bike Bus service will return for the Summer.
The service provides cyclists the chance to go cycling in the Dales, but without having to ride there and back themselves.
The bus service, being run by Arriva Yorkshire, links Leeds with Bolton Abbey, Grassington and Kettlewell and with its special trailer can carry up to 24 bikes.
Thanks to financial support from the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority, the popular bus service will start again this weekend, running every Sunday and Bank Holiday until the end of August.
The bus leaves from Leeds Rail Station Interchange at 10.05am. It then goes to Leeds University steps and leaves at 10.13am, followed by Otley Bus Station at 10.40am and Ilkley Bus Station at 11.00am.
The service route runs via Bolton Abbey and Burnsall to Grassington, Kilnsey and Kettlewell. The return from Grassington Interchange is at 5.15pm.
The Dales Bike Service is part of the DalesBus network, which provides Sunday and Bank Holiday buses from West Yorkshire into the heart of the Dales, with buses to Malhamdale, Wharfedale, Nidderdale, Wensleydale and Swaledale.
