Volunteers Needed at Drystone Radio
Drystone radio seeks to provide a voice for the community. We broadcast on a whole range of issues affecting the lives of people in the Yorkshire Dales. We cannot function, however, without the input of volunteers from those communities. If you're interested in current affairs, if you want practise writing articles or broadcasting radio programmes or if you simply want to become more involved in the community then you can help us out now. Check out the list of ongoing projects below. If any of the following interest you, contact us on 01535 635392 or email us at the address below:
Making Waves If you have a topic or interest you think we should be talking about, let us know at Drystone Radio. We are looking to expand our stock of pre-recorded radio programmes and this is your chance to have your say. If you would like to make a programme on either music, theatre, art or social issues affecting the Dales please contact David, Mike Brian or Robert with your ideas.
Drystone Live As part of their ongoing commitment to music, drama and the Arts, Drystone Radio have a series of projects helping them 'go live'. Check the website regularly for updates on all these events. If you are part of a drama production company willing to broach social issues, then contact us and together we can create a concept.
Drystone Centre Having bought the old telephone exchange up in Austwick, site improvements are now finished and Drystone Radio have a studio up and running . If you have any ideas on how this creative space can be used to best advantage, give us a call.
