Paddy B's Yorkshire Tales Recipe Of The Week
Another delicious from Paddy as heard on his Yorkshire Tales programme on Thursday 4th March.
Bacon and Egg Flan:
Ingredients;
6oz short crust pastry or buy empty flan base available in most super markets. 1 small onion grated, 1/2lb chopped bacon de-rinded, 4oz cheddar cheese grated, 1 heaped table spoon flour, 2 eggs beaten, 1/2 cup milk, salt and pepper.
Method;
Sprinkle grated onion & bacon evenly in flan base. Mix cheese and flour mixture over onion and milk season. Pour mixture over onion & bacon, bake for 30 minutes gas mark 4 or 177c.
Serve warm or cold with green salad. Serves 4.
