Skipton's Blake Morrison Gets Honorary Doctorate
The award winning author of "And when did you last see your father?" and "As if" made his reputation as an award winning poet before writing the classic memoir about his doctor father in Skipton.
"As if" explored the Bulger trials and its aftermath. Previously, Blake Morrison was the literary editor of the Observer and the editor of the Times Literary Supplement.
He has recently published a selection of poems about man/woman relationships.
